A receipt for waffles especially created for use with meal from Kvernan. You'll find more recipies if you select Norwegian language.
This is the recipe we use in The Summer House, with meal from the mill. You'll get 16- 24 waffles, depending on your waffle iron.
Mix 4 eggs, 1 l milk, 1 dl sugar, 1 dl barleymeal, 1 dl coarse flour, about 8 dl flour, 1 ts cardamom, 1 ts baking powder and 100 g melted butter in a food processor.
Let it rest for half an hour before baking.
l= litre, dl= decilitre, ts= tea-spoon, g= gram.
